As online donations are voluntary, If you believe that an error has been made in connection with your online donation,

We will endeavour to work with you to correct any such error, and if necessary, make any refund or correction that is appropriate as long as you request a refund or correction within 7 working days of the date on which you made the contribution.
You will need to provide in full the details of your transaction and show a copy of the email, if any, that was sent to you at the time of donating.

Welcome to the
InTown Centre
Shoe String Cafe

The Intown Centre (trading as the Shoe String Café) is engaged in issues that commonly affect our community such as homelessness, unemployment and social isolation.
To provide a day centre and meals service for people of all ages, gender who face difficulties
with loneliness, poverty, alcohol /substance abuse, homelessness, poor housing,
mental health issues to enhance their dignity, self esteem and independence.

Every day is a different meal – soup, main and dessert.
Tea, coffee, milo available free all day, we also sell cooldrink cans for $2.00.

Our vision is to continue to develop and build upon the services already offered. We aim to provide care and comfort to those in need to compliment the meals and fellowship at the Centre

The Centre is a drug and alcohol free environment.
The friendly staff and volunteers provide a warm, caring family atmosphere and are always willing to listen and give support. Referrals and hampers can be provided when needed..
